Solo acoustic set on guitar and piano. In 2006 Eric Mtugwazi embarked on his career as a solo artist using the moniker The Spotlight Kid, culminating in performances in the UK and Holland. This year The Spotlight Kid will feature as part of Chepstow’s Two Rivers Folk Festival 2007 and has also been selected for The Hospital Club Mentoring Award Scheme 2007, to support emerging talent in the UK creative industries, lending further support to his growing reputation as a newcomer to watch out for in 2007.
